Mwah! Jessica Simpson takes a picture of herself kissing Eric Johnson
Eric Johnson caught some big passes at Yale and during his time as a player in the NFL. But it looks like he missed a big old pass thrown at him by girlfriend Jessica Simpson.
Simpson, 30, captured her awkward kiss exchange with her new football hunk and tweeted it to the world.
Her tweet might have said it all: "Romance 101…getting kissed by my Yalie…me not looking' so smart…:) but Yum!"
Yum, indeed. Sometimes love isn't pretty, but for Simpson at least it's clearly love again.
After her heartbreak with Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo, Simpson has been dating Johnson since May.
The two have made a regular feature of the public kissing thing -- traveling to the romantic island of Capri for Simpson's birthday earlier this month and spending the Fourth of July at a Florida resort.
Simpson recently tweeted a profound thought on her famously up and down love life: '''Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together'' ~Marilyn Monroe …WOW:)'
We hope Tony Romo heard that one.
The star turned 30 on July 8, but did not seem daunted by the prospect. "I think [30] is going to be a good year for me," she said in May magazine interview.
That was, however, before the reality of 30 actually set in. The Price of Beauty star tweeted on July 19: 'It is official- I'm 30 and found a wrinkle. Damnit!!'
