Shauna Sand was Born on Sept. 2, 1971 at San Diego, California, USA.
At the age of five she began to study ballet, jazz and theater. She got herself enrolled in the School of Creative and Performing Arts at the age of 11 and at the tender age of 13 she had a dance scholarship with Ballet West. Although she began modeling at the age of nine when a local photographer approached her , but her modeling career really exploded when she signed with the Elite/Petite agency in New York at the age of 15.
